A '63 date shelved for years before release, catching Mitchell's front line -- Henderson's tenor bite against Wright's alto -- riding a young Hancock's harmonies with easy, unhurried swing. Roy Brooks and Gene Taylor keep the pulse loose and springy, true to the title's promise.

We hold no 1960s pressing of this one. The earliest on file is Blue Note LT-1082 from 1980, and Japan's GXK 8182 followed in 1981 in both stock and promo stereo form. New Zealand's World Record Club pressed WC 4467 in 1982, and Japan returned to the title in 1993 with a limited edition numbered BST 84142. None of the five listings carries a groove or stamp marker, so buy on condition.
