The record
A one-off supergroup pairing bebop architects with the swing-to-bop pivot generation, Monk's angular comping trading space with Gillespie and Stitt's fluency. Atlantic caught a touring package show's all-star lineup in the studio, a rare instance of these particular giants on one date together.
