The record
Clark Terry sits in with the trio's well-oiled rhythm section, trading his warm flugelhorn and puckish mumbles-scat charm against Peterson's effortless swing. A loose, good-humored session that shows the pianist's working unit at ease sharing the spotlight.

Pressings
Everything original-era here is 1964. The US stereo, SR 60975, and the mono, MG 20975, came out together, and several mono rows show a deep groove -- Terre Haute and Pitman among them. New Zealand copies of both carry laminated sleeves. Speakers Corner reissued SR 60975 on 180 gram in 2004, and Mercury returned to the same number in 2026 with a remastered gatefold, so good sound does not require chasing an early copy.
