The record

A Bacharach-era pop tune reworked with Alexander's trademark blend of Jamaican lilt and hard-swinging bebop chops, anchored by Eugene Wright's rock-steady bass from his Brubeck Quartet days. Cut for the German BASF label in the early '70s, a snapshot of the pianist's trio at its most buoyant.
