The record
Ronnie Scott and Tubby Hayes co-led this hard-swinging quintet, proof that Britain's late-'50s scene could match the New York pulse note for note. Jazzland's import brought the UK's twin-tenor fire (with Hayes stretching out on flute) to American ears.
Session personnel
- Kenny Napper — bass
- Phil Seamen — drums
- Tubby Hayes — flute
- Terry Shannon — piano
- Ronnie Scott — tenor saxophone
