The record

A West Coast one-off cut for Bethlehem in late '55, pairing Marty Paich's arranging smarts with Larry Bunker's vibes and Jack Costanzo's bongos for a Latin-tinged spin on the era's cool jazz workshop sound. Curtis Counce and Frank Capp anchor the rhythm while Mickey Lynne's vocals add a rare human voice to this loose, session-band affair.
