A pop-savvy TV host's turn at the bossa boom, cut with genuine Brazilian-jazz credentials in Laurindo Almeida and the swinging guitar of Herb Ellis to keep things honest. Dot's early-60s answer to Getz/Gilberto fever, lighter in touch but well-stocked with West Coast studio talent.
