The record
Half Jobim bossa nova, half breezy standards with the Riddle-adjacent orchestra of the day -- this pairs the hushed, unhurried Sinatra of the "Francis Albert Sinatra & Antonio Carlos Jobim" sessions with a lighter, later-period set of pop covers. A curious split-personality LP that shows the singer easing into his early-70s twilight before the brief retirement.

Every copy on file is from 1971, so the earliest-pressing flag lands arbitrarily on a German pressing, 44 115. Treat the US Reprise FS 1033 as the reference point: it is listed from Santa Maria, Pitman, Terre Haute and Carrollton plants, with a Capitol Record Club edition as 1033. Britain had both RSLP 1033 and K44115. Australian and Greek copies add laminated sleeves. Nothing later than 1971 appears in our data.
