The record
Dooto Records, an outlier from the usual Contemporary and Pacific Jazz circuit, catches Collette moving through flute, clarinet and both saxophones with Gerald Wilson's trumpet adding a Central Avenue edge. Earl Palmer's drums keep the session driving rather than delicate.
