The record
A Scandinavian big-band session built around Quincy Jones charts, with expat trumpeter Benny Bailey fronting a crack Swedish/Norwegian lineup that includes Arne Domnérus and Åke Persson. Cut for Argo at the tail end of the '50s, it shows how deep Jones's writing had already traveled beyond the American scene.
